Ingredients
- 1 musk melon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Sea salt to taste
- 3-4 tablespoons sugar
- 1-2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
Method
- Halve melon, discard seeds, cut into slices and put them into a bowl.
- Add sea salt, sugar, red chilli powder and lemon juice and mix well.
- Finely chop mint leaves, add to the bowl and mix well.
- Put 3 melon slices in a vacuum bag, seal the bag to remove the air from the bag. Similarly treat the remaining melon slices. Keep them in the refrigerator for a day.
- Remove the melon slices from the bag, peel them, cut them into medium-sized cubes, arrange them over the peels and serve chilled.
