Ingredients for Millet Munchies Recipe

  • Millet 3 cups

  • Gram Flour 1/2 cup

  • Rice flour 1/2 cup

  • Refined flour (maida) 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Yogurt 1/4 cup

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cumin seeds crushed 1 tablespoon

  • Sesame seeds (til) roasted 1 tablespoons

  • Oil 4 tablespo

Method

Step 1

In a large plate sieve all the flours along with salt. Add yogurt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and four tablespoons of oil.

Step 2

Mix well and knead this mixture into a semi soft dough using a little water. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 3

Fill the dough into a chakri press and drop desired shapes in sufficient hot oil and fry on medium heat till golden crisp. Drain and store in airtight jars.
