Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole green gram
  • 2 small tomatoes chopped
  • Salt to tasteĀ 
  • a pinch sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

Method

  1. Pressure cook moong and tomato in sufficient water until soft.
  2. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  3. Blend these with salt, sugar, red chilli powder and sufficient water till consistent. Strain and boil for two minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
