Ingredients
- 1/4 cup whole green gram, soaked
- 1/4 cup chickpeas,soaked
- 1/4 cup bulgur wheat, soaked in hot water
- 1 stalk celery
- 15-20 almonds, blanched and peeled
- A few parsleystalks
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoons raisins
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons shredded carrots
Method
- Drain and cook moong and kabuli chana till just done but not mashed.
Chop celery and put into a bowl. - Add kabuli chana and moong.
Drain and add bulgur. - Halve almonds and add.
Chop parsley and add. - Add salt, raisins, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil and mix well.
Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with shredded carrot and serve.
