Ingredients for Moongphali Barfi Recipe

  • Peanuts 250 grams

  • Sugar 150 grams

  • Mawa (khoya) 50 grams

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Silver warq a few leaves


Step 1

Dry roast the peanuts and remove husk. Grind to a fine powder. Mix in the mawa lightly. Place sugar in a vessel and just enough water to soak it. Boil to a syrup of three string consistency. Add peanut mixture, cardamom powder and stir vigorously. Remove from heat. Grease a thali and pour mixture in it. Press for an even surface and apply silver warq. Cut into desired shapes. Cool and serve.
