Ingredients list for Mulled Wine Truffles - SK Khazana

  • 1 1/2 cups Red wine
  • 1 cup Dark chocolate melted
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cream
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 5-6 Black peppercorns
  • 2 inch Cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • A pinch of all spice powder
  • 2 Orange slices
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder

Method

  1. Heat wine in a non-stick pan, add sugar, black peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cloves and grate a little nutmeg. Add all spice powder, orange slices and let it come to a boil. Reduce the wine to ¼ its original quantity.
  2. Heat cream in another non-stick pan, add this to the melted chocolate in a bowl. Strain the wine mixture into the same bowl and mix till well combined. Refrigerate till set.
  3. Divide the mixture into small equal portions. Take cocoa powder on a plate and roll each portion it till evenly coated and further shape into a ball.
  4. Arrange these balls on a serving platter and serve.
