By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Aug 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Red wine, Dark chocolate Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 2.30-3 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Mulled Wine Truffles - SK Khazana 1 1/2 cups Red wine 1 cup Dark chocolate melted 1/2 cup Fresh cream 1/4 cup Sugar 5-6 Black peppercorns 2 inch Cinnamon stick 2-3 Cloves A pinch of nutmeg A pinch of all spice powder 2 Orange slices Unsweetened cocoa powder Method Heat wine in a non-stick pan, add sugar, black peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cloves and grate a little nutmeg. Add all spice powder, orange slices and let it come to a boil. Reduce the wine to ¼ its original quantity. Heat cream in another non-stick pan, add this to the melted chocolate in a bowl. Strain the wine mixture into the same bowl and mix till well combined. Refrigerate till set. Divide the mixture into small equal portions. Take cocoa powder on a plate and roll each portion it till evenly coated and further shape into a ball.
