Ingredients for Mulled Wine Truffles - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Red wine 1 1/2 cups

  • Dark chocolate melted 1 cup

  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

  • Sugar 1/4 cup

  • Black peppercorns 5-6

  • Cinnamon stick 2 inch

  • Cloves 2-3

  • A pinch of nutmeg

  • A pinch of all spice powder

  • Orange slices 2

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder


Step 1

Heat wine in a non-stick pan, add sugar, black peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cloves and grate a little nutmeg. Add all spice powder, orange slices and let it come to a boil. Reduce the wine to ¼ its original quantity.

Step 2

Heat cream in another non-stick pan, add this to the melted chocolate in a bowl. Strain the wine mixture into the same bowl and mix till well combined. Refrigerate till set.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into small equal portions. Take cocoa powder on a plate and roll each portion it till evenly coated and further shape into a ball.

Step 4

Arrange these balls on a serving platter and serve.
