Ingredients

  • 2 cups mushrooms, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves                                                       
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 4 cups vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cream
  • Celery leaves for garnish

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mushrooms, celery and garlic and sauté for two to three minutes.
  2. Add half the stock and cook for two to three minutes. Blend the vegetables in a blender until smooth.
  3. Put the blended mixture in the pan and add the remaining stock, Worcestershire sauce and grated nutmeg.
  4. Bring to a boil and season the soup with salt and black pepper powder. Stir in cream and mix well.
  5. Serve hot garnished with celery leaves.
