Ingredients list for Mustard Mushroom

  • 2 teaspoons Mustard seeds
  • 500 grams Mushroom
  • 1 tablespo Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 4 Dried red chilli
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dry mango powder (amchur)

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai.
  2. Deep fry mushrooms until golden. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside.
  3. Grind garlic, mustard seeds and red chillies into a smooth paste. Use water only if required.
  4. Heat one tablespoon oil in another non-stick kadai.
  5. Add ground paste, salt and turmeric powder. Saute till oil separates.
  6. Add mushrooms, amchur and quarter cup of water.
  7. Mix well, cover and cook for two minutes or till water dries up.
  8. Serve hot with rotis.
