Olive Pickle Roasted spices give this olive pickle a special test. By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jul 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Olives,, Mustard seeds Cuisine Fusion Course Pickle Jams Chutneys Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Medium Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Olive Pickle 20 Olives, halved 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon Fenugreek leaves (methi) 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 3 tablespoons Olive oil 1/3 cup Vinegar Method Dry roast half of the mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, cumin seeds. Grind dry roasted ingredients along with red chilli powder to a fine powder. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add remaining mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add ground powder, salt and mix well. Sauté for a minute. Add vinegar and simmer for fifteen to twenty minutes. Add olives and mix well. Allow to cool.
