Ingredients for Onion bhajjis Recipe

  • Onions chopped 3 large

  • Gram Flour 1 cup

  • Coriander powder 1 tablespoon

  • Carom seeds (ajwain) 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies chopped 3-4

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1/2 cup

  • Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger chopped 1 inch piece

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

In a large bowl mix together onions, refined flour, bengal gram flour, coriander powder, caraway seeds, turmeric powder, green chillies, chopped coriander, cumin seeds, ginger, salt,red chilli powder and sufficient water and mix well.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non stick kadai, make small dumplings of the mixture and deep fry till golden brown.

Step 3

Serve hot.
