The main difference between Italian and Indo Italian dishes is that the dishes which require stuffing, Indian vegetables and masalas replace the authentic Italian ones. 
Authentic Italian foods use the typical Italian herbs to flavour but very little chillies. And since we Indians like our food to be spicier, plenty of chilli flakes do the needful.

Ingredients for Paneer Pizza Sandwich - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Mini pizza bases 4

  • Sweet corn kernels boiled 1/4 cup

  • Yellow capsicum finely chopped 1/2 small

  • Red capsicum finely chopped 1/2 small

  • Green capsicum finely chopped 1/2 small

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) cut into small cubes 150 grams

  • Veg mayonnaise 2 tablespoons

  • Processed cheese 30 grams

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Dried mixed herbs 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Paneer masala 1 teaspoon

  • Butter as required

  • Green chutney as required

  • Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

Step 1

To make stuffing, take sweet corn in a large bowl, add yellow capsicum, red capsicum, green capsicum, cottage cheese and vegetarian mayonnaise. Grate cheese into the bowl, add red chilli flakes, mixed herbs, salt and paneer masala and mix well.

Step 2

Halve the pizza bases horizontally and apply butter and green chutney on the cut sides of all the halves. Spread a portion of the stuffing on one side of each pizza base and cover it with the other.

Step 3

Heat a griller, apply a little butter on top of each sandwich and place it on the griller. Grill till golden brown and crisp on both sides.

Step 4

Arrange them on serving platter and serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
