Ingredients list for Pasta Carbonara

  • 200 grams Tri colourspiral Pasta
  • to taste Onions
  • 5-6 to taste Bacon Rasher
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup Processed cheese grated
  • 1 cup White wine
  • as required Crushed black peppercorns
  • 2 Eggs

Method

  1. Heat sufficient water in a deep non stick pan and place a silicon colander in it. Put the pasta in the colander, add salt and cook.
  2. Heat a non stick pan. Chop bacon and add to the pan and saute. Add onions and continue to saute. Place grated processed cheese and grated parmesan cheese in a bowl.
  3. Add white wine to the pan and cook. Add salt and freshly crushed black peppercorns and mix well. Add the bacon mixture to the cheese. Break eggs into this bowl and mix.
  4. Strain pasta and add to the bacon-egg mixture and mix well. Serve immediately.
