Ingredients list for Pateta Na Sada Pattice
- 5 medium Potatoes boiled and mashed
- 3 medium Green Peas boiled and mashed
- 1 cup Green peas boiled and mashed
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds roasted and ground
- 1 teaspoon Pickled green pepper coarsely ground
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
- to taste Salt
- 4-6 Eggs
- 2 cups Bread crumbs
- to shallow fry Oil
Method
- Mix well all the ingredients except eggs, bread crumbs and oil. Dampen palms and divide the mixture into twenty equal portions and flatten each to a half centimeter thick roundel.
- Dust the pattice in breadcrumbs. Whisk the eggs and season. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Dip the dusted pattice in the whisked eggs and deep fry till crisp. Remove, drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot.
