Ingredients for Plum, Peach and Apricot Crumble Recipe

  • Plums 2

  • Peach 1 tin

  • Peaches 2

  • Peaches chopped roughly 1 tin

  • Apricots 1 tin

  • Almonds 1/2 cup

  • Sugar 3/4 cup

  • Butter 100 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) 3/4 cup

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C. Drain and put the apricot halves into a large bowl and cut the bigger pieces.

Step 2

Slice fresh peaches and plums and discard the seeds. Chop them roughly and add to the apricots in the bowl. Add chopped tinned plums and peaches too. Put the almonds in a chopper and roughly chop. Add sugar to the fruits in the bowl and mix.

Step 3

Add butter and refined flour to the almonds and process carefully at low speed so that the butter does not melt and the mixture gets a grainy texture. Put the fruits into a baking dish. Top it with the almond mixture so as to completely cover the fruits.

Step 4

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or till the crust turns golden. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream if you wish.
