Ingredients for Plum Jam Recipe

  • Plums 12-15 medium

  • Prunes 25-30

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • Cinnamon 2 inch sticks

  • Cloves 6-8

  • Honey 2-3 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Coarsely grind the prunes. Roughly chop plums, add to the prunes and grind into a coarse mixture.

Step 2

Mix together sugar, cinnamon, cloves and plum and prune mixture in a non-stick pan.

Step 3

Cook for 10-12 minutes or till the mixture thickens and the plums are completely mashed.

Step 4

Add honey, switch off the heat and mix well. Cool and store in a glass jar.
