Ingredients list for Pomegranate and Chilli Cooler

  • 8 tablespoons Fresh pomegranate pearls
  • 8 Fresh red chillies
  • 4 cups Drinking soda
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 1/2 Lemons halved
  • 24-32 Fresh mint leaves
  • as required Ice cubes
  • 8-12 tablespoons Sugar syrup
  • to garnish Lemon slices

Method

  1. Take some salt and chilli powder on a plate, mix well and spread evenly.
  2. Rub ½ lemon on the rims of 4 serving glasses and place them inverted on the plate so till they get well coated with chilli powder-salt mixture.
  3. For each portion put 2 tablespoons pomegranate pearls, 1 broken fresh red chilli, juice of ½ lemon and 6-8 torn mint leaves in the glass and muddle lightly.
  4. Put few ice cubes, 2-3 tablespoons sugar syrup and 1 cup drinking soda and mix lightly.
  5. Garnish the rim with a slit fresh red chilli and a lemon slice and serve chilled.
