Prawn Onion Bhajji This prawn starter is simply bursting with taste and flavour and it is so easy to make. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium prawns, Large Onion Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Prawn Onion Bhajji 8-12 Medium prawns shelled and deveined 1 Large Onion sliced 4-5 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) for deep-frying Oil ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds crushed ½ teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Take onion and gram flour in a bowl and mix. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, crushed coriander seeds, carom seeds and salt and mix well. Add water as required and mix well. Take prawns in another bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Coat each prawn with onion-flour mixture and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
