Ingredients list for Pyaaz Aur Besan Ke Wade

  • 2 medium Onions
  • 1 1/2 cups Gram flour (besan)
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup Fresh coriander leaves
  • 4 Green chillies chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Chop onions in a chopper and put into a large glass bowl. Chop mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies in the chopper and add to the onions in the bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, gram flour and baking powder and mix well.
  2. Sprinkle a little water and mix well. Drop spoonful of the mixture into the hot oil and deep fry till golden. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
