Ingredients for Roasted Oats And Moong Toasts Recipe

  • Oats roasted 1/2 cup

  • Sprouted moong boiled 1/2 cup

  • Brown bread 8 slices

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Lettuce leaves refreshed 4

  • Butter 2 teaspoons


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and when they change, add moong sprouts and saute for two minutes.

Step 2

Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala and salt and mix well.

Step 3

Add oats and half cup water and cook for two to three minutes.

Step 4

Arrange four bread slices on a worktop and place lettuce leaves on them.

Step 5

Spread the sprout mixture evenly over them.

Step 6

Cover with remaining four slices.

Step 7

Apply butter on top and grill in a sandwich griller till golden brown.

Step 8

Cut into triangles and serve with tomato ketchup.
