Ingredients list for Saeb Ka Dolma

  • 4 Green apples
  • 100 grams Sponge cake
  • 15 Cashewnuts roughly chopped
  • 8-10 Almonds roughly chopped
  • 10-12 Pistachios roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 6 tablespoons Rooh Afza

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 160°C. Slice the top of the apples and scoop out the flesh. Finely chop the flesh and place it in a bowl. Crumble sponge cake and add to the bowl.
  2. Add cashewnuts, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, brown sugar and butter and mix. Add 4 tbsps Rooh afza and mix well.
  3. Arrange the apples on a baking dish. Stuff the prepared mixture into the apples. Drizzle the remaining Rooh afza over them. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes and serve.
