Ingredients list for Shrikhand - SK Khazana
- 4 cups Yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Sugar powdered
- 7-8 Almonds cut into slivers
- 8-10 Pistachios cut into slivers
- A pinch of saffron soaked in 2 tablespoons of milk
Method
- Place a strainer over a bowl and line it with muslin cloth, pour the yogurt into it, tie the cloth and place a weight on top to drain the whey or excess water. Set aside in refrigerator for 6-8 hours to get hung yogurt.
- Pass it through a sieve to get a smooth texture and collect in another bowl.
- Add powdered sugar and mix well.
- Add almonds, pistachios and saffron milk along with saffron strands and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve chilled.
