Ingredients list for Shrimp, Leek and Spinach Pasta
- 2 cups Penne pasta
- 200 grams Shrimps medium, peeled and deveined
- 2 Leeks halved and diagonally cut
- 200 grams Fresh baby spinach
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- to taste Black pepper powder
- Rind of 1 lemon grated
- 3/4 cup Cheese sauce
- a pinch Red chilli flakes
Method
- Boil five cups water in a deep non-stick pan, add salt and pasta and cook till the pasta is done. Drain.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add leeks, salt and pepper powder and cook, stirring occasionally, till the leeks are soft.
- Add shrimps and lemon rind and cook, tossing frequently, for four to five minutes.
- Add cheese sauce, boiled pasta and spinach and mix well.
- Add salt, pepper powder and chilli flakes and toss. Simmer for a minute.
- Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
