Ingredients list for Sofiyani Chicken Tikka

  • 300 grams Boneless chicken legs cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons Fennel powder
  • 1 tablespoon Hung yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander-mint paste
  • 2 teaspoons Roasted gram flour
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Green chilli paste
  • 2 teaspoons Mustard oil
  • to taste Sal
  • 1 to taste Mayonnaise
  • to grease Refined oil
  • for basting Butter
  • for garnish Onion rings
  • for garnish Lemon wedges
  • to serve Green chutney

Method

  1. Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add hung yogurt, coriander-mint paste, gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, green-chilli paste, fennel powder, mustard oil, salt and mayonnaise and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 200˚C.
  3. Grease the air fryer basket with oil, arrange the marinated chicken pieces in it, fit the basket to the fryer and air fry for 15minutes.
  4. Remove the cooked chicken pieces from the air fryer and baste with butter.
  5. Arrange them on a serving platter, garnish with onion rings and lemon wedge and serve hot with green chutney.
