Ingredients list for Strawberry Oats Cake
- 6 Strawberries
 - 1 cup Strawberry Flavoured Oats
 - 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped
 - 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
 - Refined flour (maida) 2 cups + 2 tablespoons
 - 1 tablespoon Baking powder
 - 4 Eggs
 - 1 cup Sugar
 - 1 cup Extra virgin olive oil
 - 7-8 drops Rose essence
 
Method
- Preheat oven at 180° C. Grease a cake tin with a little oil and dust with a little flour..
 - Cut strawberries into small pieces and place in a bowl. Add cashewnuts, almonds and 2 tbsps refined flour and mix well.
 - Sieve together remaining refined flour and baking powder into another bowl.
 - Break eggs into a third bowl. Add sugar and whisk till fluffy. Add olive oil and rose essence and whisk well.
 - Add the sieved refined flour, oats, strawberries and nuts and mix well to avoid any lumps.
 - Pour into the cake tin and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and turn the cake out of the tin. Cut into wedges. Transfer onto a serving plate and serve.
