Ingredients list for Stuffed Bhuna Masala Kabab

  • 1/2 cup Green Peas
  • 10-12 Dry Breadcrumbs blanched and finely chopped
  • 3 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 65 grams Bhuna masala
  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 3 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 5 tablespoons Dry breadcrumbs
  • for dusting Cornflour
  • For garnishing
  • A lemon wedge
  • Thin strips of red capsicum
  • Thin strips of green capsicum

Method

  1. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and ginger and sauté for a minute.
  2. Coarsely grind peas and add to the pan. Add French beans, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add bhuna masala, mix well and cook for a minute. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Add breadcrumbs and potatoes and mix well.
  4. Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick tawa. Dust your palms with cornflour. Divide the mixture into equal portions, shape each portion into a tikki and place them on the tawa. Cook flipping side till evenly crisp on both sides.
  5. Place a lemon wedge, thin strips of red capsicum and green capsicum on a serving plate. Transfer the tikkis on the plate and serve hot.
