Ingredients for Tahini and Cardamom Ice Cream - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Green cardamoms 8-10

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Fresh cream 1 cup

  • Milk powder 3/4 cup

  • Condensed milk 1 cup

  • Tahini 1/4 cup

  • black sesame seeds (kale til) toasted 1 tablespoon

  • White sesame seeds toasted 1 tablespoon

  • Sesame Tuile for garnish


Step 1

Put the green cardamom in a mortar and crush with the pestle.

Step 2

Heat in a deep non-stick pan, pour milk and fresh cream into it and whisk well. Add crushed cardamom and whisk well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Set aside to cool for sometime. .Strain this mixture into a blender jar, add milk powder, condensed milk, and tahini and blend into a smooth mixture.

Step 3

Strain the mixture into a freeze proof container. Sprinkle black sesame seeds and white sesame seeds on top and cover the container with its tight fitting lid. Keep it in the freezer to set.

Step 4

To serve take scoops of the icecream in serving bowl, garnish with sesame tuile and serve immediately.
