Ingredients list for Thick Almond Soup
- 20 Almonds, soaked in hot water
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon MSG
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper powder
Method
- Remove the skin of almonds and grind into a paste by adding three to four tablespoons milk.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add flour to it and saute till fragrant.
- Add three cups hot water and stir gently, ensuring that there are no lumps.
- Add almond paste and remaining milk. Mix well and bring it to a boil.
- Add MSG, salt and black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for another minute. Serve hot.
