Ingredients list for Tomato Cheese Sandwich

  • 8 slices Tomatoes
  • 4 medium Cream Cheese sliced thickly
  • 1/2 cup Cream cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • 8-10 Basil leaves shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil

Method

  1. Marinate tomato slices with the salt, crushed peppercorns, basil leaves and olive oil for ten to fifteen minutes.
  2. Apply two tablespoons of cream cheese on each of four bread slices and spread the marinated tomato mixture evenly over that. Cover with remaining four slices.
  3. Cut into fingers and serve.
