Ingredients list for Tuna Thoran
- 500 grams Tuna Fish cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 3 teaspoons Coconut
- 3 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 cup Coconut grated
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 2 Dry red chilies
- 4-5 Curry leaves
- 1 medium Onion
- 2-3 Green chilli
- to taste Salt
Method
- Heat one tablespoon oil in a non stick pan add red chilli powder, coriander powder and tumeric powder together.
- Add grated coconut and saute for two minutes. Remove and cool.
- Coarsely grind the above adding curry leaves. Keep aside.
- Heat two tablespoon oil in a non stick pan add mustard seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves and saute for one minute.
- Add onions and saute till light brown.
- Add green chillies, coconut masala, tuna, salt and half cup water and let it simmer till fish is cooked.
