Ingredients list for Warm Red Cabbage Salad

  • 1 medium Red cabbage shredded
  • 10-12 Raisins
  • 1 medium Onion thinly sliced
  • to taste Salt
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 large Apple thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 6-7 Black peppercorns crushed

Method

  1. Heat butter in a pan, add onion and sauté for a minute. Add red cabbage and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add garlic, mix and add sliced apples. Sauté for a minute. Sprinkle sugar and raisins.
  3. When apples soften, add lemon juice. Add freshly crushed black peppercorns and mix. Serve hot and crunchy
