This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mixed vegetable pickle, Baby Potatoes Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Achari Aloo Ki Tahiri 2 tablespoons Mixed vegetable pickle 10-15 Baby Potatoes 3 medium Potatoes cubed 1 1/2 cup Rice,soaked 1 tablespoon Ghee 1 inch stick Cinnamon 5-6 Cloves 2 Bay leaves 7-8 Black peppercorns 5-6 Green cardamoms 1 Black cardamoms crushed 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 medium Onion sliced to taste Salt Method Heat ghee in a deep non stick pan, add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, black peppercorns, green cardamoms, black cardamom, cumin seeds and saute till fragrant. Halve baby potatoes. Add onionsto the pan and saute till lightly coloured. Add baby potatoes and potato cubes and saute. Add mixed vegetable pickle and mix well. Add rice and mix well. Add 3 cups water and salt and mix well.When the water comes to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook till both potatoes and rice are cooked.
