By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Apr 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Cauliflower florets Cuisine Indian,Punjabi Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Aloo Gobhi - SK Khazana 3 medium Potatoes peeled and cut into medium cubes 200 grams Cauliflower florets 1 1/2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 3-4 Green chillies slit 3 tablespoons Onion chopped 3 tablespoons Tomato chopped to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 1/2 teaspoons Coriander powder 1 inch Ginger cut into thin strips 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped for garnish coriander leaves Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and when their colour changes, add green chillies, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add onion, mix and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add tomatoes, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add salt, mix well, cover and cook till tomatoes soften. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder and mix well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add potatoes, cauliflower florets, salt and ½ cup water and mix well. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or till the vegetables are done. Remove the lid, sprinkle ginger strips and coriander leaves and mix well.
