Ingredients for Baked Bean Wraps Recipe

  • Canned Black beans 200 grams

  • Wholewheat Flour rotis 4

  • Oil 1 tbsp + f

  • Garlic cloves sliced 6-8

  • Onions finely chopped 2 medium

  • Green capsicum finely chopped 1 small

  • Red capsicum finely chopped 1 small

  • Yellow capsicum finely chopped 1 small

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 4 tablespoon


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till brown. Add onions and sauté till translucent. Add green, red and yellow capsicums and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and mix well. Add baked beans, red chilli sauce and tomato ketchup and mix well. Simmer for a minute.

Step 2

Place a roti on the worktop, spread some mozzarella cheese on it, place some baked bean mixture on one side and roll to make a wrap. Similarly prepare the rest.

Step 3

Heat oil in a non-stick grill pan, place the prepared wraps in it, cook, turning sides, till the grill marks appear on both sides.

Step 4

Halve one wrap, arrange it with the others on a serving plate and serve.
