Ingredients list for Bread Upma-SK Khazana
- 5-6 Brown bread slices
 - 1 tablespoon Oil
 - 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
 - 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
 - 2 sprigs Curry leaves
 - 1 Medium onion finely chopped
 - 1 Green chilli chopped
 - 1 Green chilli slit
 - 1 Medium potato peeled and cut into cubes
 - to taste Salt
 - 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
 - 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
 - 1 teaspoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
 - for garnish Fresh coriander sprig
 
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and sauté till the seeds splutter. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves and sauté till leaves crackle.
 - Add onions and sauté till it turns translucent. Add chopped and slit green chillies and potatoes and mix.
 - Add some water, salt and turmeric powder, mix well, cover and cook till the potatoes are done.
 - Cut bread slices into small cubes, add to the pan and mix well. Add some water, mix and let it get heated through.
 - Switch off heat, add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well.
 - Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
