Broccoli Salad This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Jul 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Broccoli, Sesame Seeds Cuisine Fusion Course Salads Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Broccoli Salad 1/4 large Broccoli to taste Sesame Seeds 3-4 cloves Garlic 2 tablespoons Olive oil 1 teaspoon Vinegar 1 teaspoon Crushed red chillies 1 1/2 tablespoons Honey 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds (til) toasted Method Separate broccoli florets keeping the stems intact. Cut them vertically into halves. Heat 2-3 cups water in a deep non-stick pan. Add broccoli florets and salt and blanch. To make the dressing, crush garlic cloves through a garlic press into a bowl. Add olive oil, vinegar, salt and crushed red chillies and mix well. Remove the broccoli florets from the hot water and refresh in ice cold water. Set aside for 4-5 minutes. Pat them dry on a kitchen towel. Add honey to the dressing and mix. Add the broccoli florets and toss to mix. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve immediately.
