Cheesy Pakoda Sandwich A delicious cheese and vegetable filling stuffed in bread pakoda and toasted to perfection This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Processed cheese block, Bread slices Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cheesy Pakoda Sandwich 100 grams Processed cheese block 8 Bread slices 1 cup Gram flour 2 teaspoons Coriander powder 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons Cumin powder to taste Salt 4 tablespoons Oil 1/2 cup Cabbage shredded as required Onion chopped as required Tomato chopped as required Green capsicum chopped to serve Tomato ketchup Method Take gram flour in a bowl, add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well. Add 2 cups of water and whisk well to make a smooth batter. For making one sandwich, heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, dip 2 bread slices in the gram flour batter and place it in the pan and shallow fry, turning sides, till golden brown on both sides. Sprinkle some cabbage, onion, tomato, green capsicum, grate 25 grams cheese on top of 1 bread slice. Cover it with another bread slice and press it. Cook for 30 seconds on each side. Make the remaining sandwiches similarly.
