By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cherries, Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cherry Halwa 500 grams Cherries pitted 2 tablespoons Ghee 2 tablespoons Semolina (rawa/suji) 3 tablespoons Sugar 4 tablespoons Khoya/mawa grated 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped a pinch Green cardamom powder for garnishing Rose syrup 3 tablespoons + Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add semolina and sauté till light brown. Add cherries, mix well and cook till cherries are soft and pulpy. Add sugar, khoya, almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts, cardamom powder and rose syrup. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
