Ingredients for Chicken Crispy Recipe

  • Boneless chicken strips 1 cup

  • Oil 1 tbsp+ to deep fry

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns , crushed to taste

  • Egg yolk 1

  • Cornflour 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic , chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Celery , chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Spring onion bulbs , sliced 2 tablespoons

  • Mixed capsicums (red, green, yellow) strips 1 cup

  • Red chilli sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon

  • Spring onion greens , diagonally sliced 2 tbsps + to garnish

Method

Step 1

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 2

Take chicken strips in a bowl, add salt, crushed peppercorns, egg yolk and cornflour and mix well.

Step 3

Gently slide in the chicken strips into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 4

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic, celery, spring onion bulbs, mixed capsicum strips, red chilli sauce and soy sauce, mix well and sauté for 1 minute.

Step 5

Add salt, crushed peppercorns and fried chicken strips, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add spring onion greens and mix well.

Step 6

Transfer into a serving plate, garnish with sliced spring onion greens and serve hot.
