By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Feb 2022 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Chicken, Masala powder Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 51-60 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken Curry 800 grams Chicken cut into pieces on bone 1 tablespoons Masala powder 1 inch stick Cinnamon 1 Green cardamoms 5-6 Garlic cloves 2 medium Onions roughly chopped ½ inch piece Ginger Method Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and yogurt for one hour in a refrigerator. Put coriander seeds, fennel seeds, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves, onions, garlic, caraway seeds, poppy seeds, cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns, bay leaf, star anise, green cardamom and cashewnuts in a mixer jar and grind to a fine and thick paste with sufficient water. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add tomatoes and sauté for five to six minutes on medium heat. Add the ground masala and sauté, on medium heat, for eight to ten minutes or till the oil separates from the masala. Add marinated chicken and sauté on high heat for six to eight minutes or till the chicken pieces turn brown. Add sufficient water. Cover and cook till the chicken is completely cooked. Transfer into serving bowl and serve hot with rice/chapatti/pav.
