Ingredients list for Chicken Teriyaki With Black Grapes

  • 4 Chicken
  • 12-15 Black grapes
  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Molasses
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts
  • for garnish Enoki mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 inch piece Ginger sliced
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup White wine
  • 2 tablespoons Honey

  1. Mix together four tablespoon soy sauce, two tablespoon molasses, salt and half a teaspoon black pepper powder well. Marinate the chicken breasts with this mixture and set aside for half an hour.
  2. To prepare sauce, heat butter in a pan. Add sliced ginger, chopped onion and sauté till they turn golden brown. Add white wine and cook till the mixture reduces a little. 
  3. Add hand crushed black grapes and continue to cook stirring for five to seven minutes till the grapes become soft. Add rest of soy sauce, black pepper powder, salt and molasses. Mix and strain the sauce.
  4. Pick the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them over a grill. Pour some of the marinade over the pieces and add the rest to the sauce. Brush the chicken breasts with some oil and grill till done. Pour the strained sauce into a pan and cook again
  5. Make a bed of the bean sprouts on the serving plate. Place the chicken pieces over them.
  6. Top it with hot sauce and serve with enoki mushrooms.
