Ingredients list for Chicken Tikka Lasagna

  • 250 grams Chicken tikka , chopped
  • 6 Lasagne sheets
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic , chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Tomatoes , blanched and chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves , chopped
  • 1 cup White sauce
  • 3-4 tablespoons Mozzarella cheese , grated

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till the raw smells disappear. Add tomatoes, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add salt, mix and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add chicken tikka, red chilli flakes and 1 tablespoon coriander leaves and mix well. Sprinkle some water and mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Put some chicken tikka mixture in a glass baking dish. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons white sauce and place 2 lasagna sheets over it. Repeat these layers twice ending with chicken mixture. Drizzle the remaining white sauce over.
  5. Sprinkle ½ tablespoon coriander leaves and spread mozzarella cheese on top. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cut into 4 equal pieces and serve hot.
