Ingredients list for Chicken Tikka Tawa Pulao

  • 250 grams Chicken Tikka readymade
  • 3 cups Cooked rice
  • 2-3 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • ¼ cup Tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon Pav bhaji masala
  • ½ medium Green capsicum chopped
  • 2-3 tablespoons Green peas
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Roughly chop chicken tikka and transfer into a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and onion and sauté till onion turns golden. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix well and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add tomato puree and red chili paste, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add pav bhaji masala, capsicum, green peas, coriander leaves and salt and mix well. Add 3-4 tablespoons water, mix and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add rice and mix well. Add chicken tikka, mix and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Serve hot.
