Chilli Soya Chunks Soya chunks cooked in Chinese style in sesame oil. Serve this delicious recipe on it's own or with fried rice. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Aug 2015 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Soya bean chunks, Green chillies Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 100 grams soya bean chunks, soaked for 10-15 minutes drained and halved 3 green chillies, slit 2 dried red chillies, seeded and sliced 2 tablespoons sesame oil (til oil) 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic 1 medium onion, diced 1 medium green capsicum, diced 2 1/2 tablespoons dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup Method Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan, add ginger and garlic and sauté for a minute. Add red chillies and sauté for half a minute. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Add capsicum and green chillies and sauté for a minute. Add soya chunks and cook for five to seven minutes. Add soy sauce, chilli sauce and tomato ketchup and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for fifteen minutes. Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
