Ingredients for Chocolate Modak - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Dark chocolate chopped 1 cup

  • Butter 4 tablespoons

  • Condensed milk 1/3 cup

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Khoya/mawa grated 1 cup

  • Walnuts finely chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Desiccated coconut 1/2 cup

Method

Step 1

Heat butter in a non-stick pan, let it melt.

Step 2

Add chocolate and mix till it melts completely. Add condensed milk, mix and cook for a minute on low heat.

Step 3

Add vanilla essence and mix well.

Step 4

Add khoya and walnuts and mix. Add desiccated coconut, mix and cook till the mixture starts to leave the side of the pan.

Step 5

Take the pan off the heat and transfer into a bowl and allow the mixture to cool completely.

Step 6

Garnish the chocolate modaks with walnuts and serve.
