By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients U.S. Cranberries, California Walnuts Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cranberry and Walnut Lemon Rice 1/3 cup U.S. Cranberries 1/2 cup California Walnuts roasted and chopped 1 Lemon 3 cups Basmati rice cooked 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 15-20 Curry leaves 4 Green chillies to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, mix and sauté for a few seconds. Add U.S. Cranberries and California Walnuts and toss well. Slit green chillies and add into the pan. Add cooked rice and mix well. Add ⅓ cup water and salt and mix well. Squeeze the juice of lemon into the pan. Add turmeric powder and mix well.
