By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) , Pressed rice (poha) Cuisine Madhya Pradesh Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Dal Poha 1 cup Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) soaked and boiled 1 cup Pressed rice (poha) soaked 1/2 tablespoon Oil 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 Green chilli finely chopped 5-7 Curry leaves 2 medium Onions chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt a pinch Sugar 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander chopped Method Advertisment Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add green chilli and curry leaves and saute for half a minute. Add onions, turmeric powder and sauté for half a minute. Add green gram and mix well and saute for two minutes. Add poha and mix well and cook till heated through. Add salt and sugar and mix well. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
