By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dosa batter, Oil Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dosa Waffles as required Dosa batter 1 tablespo Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Curry leaves chopped 1/2 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped 1 Medium onion finely chopped 1 Medium tomato finely chopped to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped to serve Green coconut chutney Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, green chillies and onions, mix and sauté till onion turns translucent. Add tomatoes and salt, mix well and saute till tomato turns soft and pulpy. Add chilli powder and turmeric powder, mix well and saute for a minute. Set aside to cool. Take dosa batter in a large bowl, add the cooked mixture, coriander leaves and salt and mix well. Heat a waffle iron and grease it lightly with a little oil. Pour the batter, cover and cook till fully done. Make more waffles in the same way.
