By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Drumsticks, Coconut milk Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Drumstick Curry 4 Drumsticks peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces Coconut milk 2 tablespoons Oil 20 Curry leaves 2 medium Onions sliced 1 teaspoon Curry powder 1 1/2 cups Thin coconut milk to taste Salt 4 Green chillies slit 1 1/2 tablespoons Tamarind pulp 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 cup Thick coconut milk Method Heat oil in a deep pan, add curry leaves and onions and sauté till lightly browned. Add the drumsticks and stir. Add the curry powder and stir again. Add thin coconut milk, salt and green chillies. Stir and add half a cup of water. Cover and cook till the drumsticks are well cooked. Add tamarind pulp and mix. Add fresh coriander leaves and reduce the heat. Add thick coconut milk and let it heat through. Do not let it come to a boil. Serve hot.
