This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2015 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Carrots, Fenugreek leaves Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup chopped carrots 2 cups finely chopped fenugreek leaves 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 2 tablespoon finely chopped garlic 2 medium onions, roughly chopped 1 inch ginger + 3-4 green chillies ground into paste Salt to taste ½ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder Juice of ½ lemon Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and garlic and sauté till brown. Add onions and sauté further till onions are translucent. Add carrots and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes. Add ginger-green chilli paste and sauté for 2 minutes. Add salt, fenugreek leaves and mix well. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and mix well. Cook till the fenugreek leaves and carrots are done. Add lemon juice and mix well. Reduce heat and cook for a minute. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
