Ingredients list for Gehun Ka Halwa
- 1 cup Broken wheat
 - 1 cup Ghee
 - 5-6 strands Saffron (kesar)
 - 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
 - 1 cup Sugar
 - 1/2 cup Khoya/mawa,grated
 - 5-6 Almonds,blanched and slivered
 
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add lapsi and sauté on low heat till brownish red in colour. Add saffron and mix well.
 - Add 6 cups water and mix well. Cook, stirring continuously, adding water as required till lapsi is soft.
 - Add green cardamom powder, sugar and khoya and mix well. Add almonds and mix well.
 - Cook for 3-4 minutes more.
